On Saturday I spent a happy afternoon at the shops with my sister, and was on the way home in plenty of time for X Factor, when the car broke down. This quickly led to having to single-handedly push the car out of the road (we had just crossed a major roundabout) and into a small lay-by by some shops. Only once my efforts were completed did I notice a guy sitting watching me -- without offering to help.
My small irritation at behaviour of said Londoner non-gentleman was further compounded by the then continuous stream of men in cars who seemed to think that 2 girls on the side of a road in the rain on a Saturday evening were standing next to a car with its hazard lights on FOR FUN! They were in turns rude, abusive and sarcastic. Only one guy offered to help - by that time the RAC had already been out (they're great) and we were waiting for the tow truck.
Guys! Next time you see two girls stranded don't be rude to them!! Its bad karma and will come and kick you in the teeth when you least expect it. So there.
